Respect

Giving respect isn't easy—especially when it isn't deserved.  There are people I believe are doing great damage to themselves, their families, and our country.  Disrespecting them won't make any of that better.  I am to respect my President.  That does not mean that I can't disagree with him.  My children are to respect me—even when I may not be worthy of respect.  "Officer—I beat that man to death because he dissed [disrespected] me".  Individuals want to be respected.  Individuals deserve to be respected.  Do it.
