Before opening Van Horn Family Law, PC, I served in the United States Air Force, where I served for 32 years. After serving my country, I developed the desire to serve individuals who are going through one of the most difficult periods in their life, divorce.

Before starting Van Horn Family Law, I was an attorney with McGuane and Hogan, LLP. Obviously, family law is a practice that is highly emotional, painful, and difficult, so I desired to practice in this area of law differently than other large law firms would allow. At other law firms, working to avoid conflict is not a priority because it loses a paying customer; I do not agree with this. As a Christian, I belive that divorce should be avoided at all cost, and avoiding divorce also benefits everyone involved, both from an emotional and financial standpoint.
